Adeline Popp

Adeline R. Popp, 69, of 315 Paine Street, Kiel, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1996 at her home. She was born Dec. 30, 1926 in Elkhart Lake, a daughter of the late Henry J. and Edna A. Price Popp. She was a 1945 graduate of Kiel High School. She was employed at the former Leverenz Shoe Factory in New Holstein for 43 years, retiring in 1988 when the factory closed. After retirement she was the proprietor of the Kiel Resale Shop. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Kiel
Survivors include one son, Randy R. (Mary J.) Popp of Cedar Grove; a very special niece, Ruthie R. Rumpff of Kiel; three grandchildren; one sister, Lucille L. (Ervin H.) Reese of Kiel; one brother, Raymond R. (Lorraine) Popp of Kiel, nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by two nephews.
Memorial services were held at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home in Kiel, with the Rev. Marcia Thomas, pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Kiel, officiating. Burial will be in Kiel Cemetery.
