Mrs. Edna A. (Henry Popp, 93, formerly of 315 Paine Street, Kiel, died Monday morning, Feb. 10, 1922, at the Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, where she had been a resident for the past three years.
The former Edna Price was born April 17, 1898, in Greenbush, Wis., daughter of the late Alfred and Mary (Zimmerman) Price. She attended school in Greenbush. On December 27, 1922, she married Henry J. Popp in Elkhart Lake. The couple lived in Elkhart Lake and moved to Kiel in 1934, where they operated a service station. They also operated the Kiel Resale Shop, from 1953 until their retirement. Her husband, Henry, died August 5, 1976.
Survivors include two daughters, Lucille (Ervin) Reese and Adeline Popp, both of Kiel, one son, Raymond (Lorraine) Popp, of Kiel, eight grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; one sister, Lena L. Barfoot of Sheboygan. She was preceded in death by one brother, George Price Sr. and one grandson, Peter Popp.
Private funeral services will be held at Meiselwitz funeral Home, Kiel, with the Rev. Raymond C. Coombs officiating. Burial will be in the Kiel Cemetery.
