Michelle L. Pingel, 42, of Kiel, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, January 29, 2010 at her home.
She is the former Michelle Barts, born February 27, 1967 in Sheboygan, daughter of Merlin Barts and the late Madolin (Krimmel) Barts.
Michelle attended Kiel High School.
On October 1, 1986 she married Christopher Pingel.
She most recently was employed at Sargento Foods in Kiel and had previously worked at Art Unlimited in New Holstein and Econo Foods in Kiel.
In her free time she enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking and camping.
Survivors include her husband, Chris; two daughters, Teresa and Megan Pingel; her father, Merlin Barts of Kiel; brothers and sisters, Beverly (Ricky) Bartz of School Hill, Merlin Jr. (Rose) Barts of New Holstein, Barbara Schreiber of Kiel, Wanda Graf of Wisconsin Dells, JoAnne (Stephen) Sexton of Kiel, Bryan (Sarah) Barts of PA, Brad (Jessica) Barts of New Holstein. Her father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Valeria Pingel of Chilton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Tina Malloy of St. Nazianz, William Pingel of Chilton, Cindy (Josh) Schuler of St. Nazianz.
Michelle was preceded in death by her mother, Madolin and her nephew, Clint Barts.
