Nancy Leona Shockley, 86, daughter of Billy and Augusta Patterson, was born May 18, 1907, at Ink. She died Nov. 24, 1993, after suffering a heart attack. She married Clarence Shockley May 2,1924, at Ink. They had three children and lived in the Ink community near Summersville. She was a member of the Summersville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband; five sisters, Stella, Artie, Maude, Willa and Lorraine; one brother, Paul; and one grandson. Surviving are three children, Wilbert Shockley of Eminence, Jack Shockley of Summersville and Louise Keeling of Eminence; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services were Nov. 27 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with Chick Smith officiating. Burial was in the Summer Cemetery at Ink.
