Born April 16, 1924, in Hidalgo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Othel Mondon. Lived 20 years in rural Byron, coming from Rockford. Married to Maurice Stewart in Dixon, Sept. 18, 1969. Employed as cook by Highland Nursing Home five years. Attended Hidalgo public schools.
Survivors include her husband, Maurice; five sons, Quinton and Gregory Keeling, both of Chandler, Ariz., Kevin R. Keeling, Rockford, Leland K. Keeling, Cold Hill, Ark., and Cleo D. Keeling, Brooklyn Center, Minn., a daughter, Pamela Sue Phillips, Chandler, Ariz.; and 15 grandchildren.
