F. Marie Comer, 106, Erie, Kansas, died Sunday, May 21, 2006, at the Good News Samaritan Center, Parsons, Kansas.
She was born August 5, 1899, at Urbana, Kansas to Clinton H. and Orpha Jane (Meeker) Comer.
She grew up near Chanute, KS, and attended Chanute schools, graduating from Chanute High School in 1918.
She lived in Neosho County most of her life. She worked as a clerk at a dry goods store, and at JC Penney in Chanute.
Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; including a nephew, Howard Smith, Erie, KS, who provided for her care.
She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Graveside service will be May 24, 2006, at Elmwood Cemetery in Chanute, Kansas.
