Mrs. Hattie Slatten Pittman Adcock, age 89, a resident of Cedar Bend in Sparta passed away Monday June 9, 2008 at the NHC of Sparta.
Mrs. Adcock was born July 2, 1918 in White County to the late Aleck & Minnie Felts Slatten. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by husbands Zollie Martin Pittman and Tom Adcock. She is also preceded by a daughter Myrna Brown, two grandsons Matthew Harris and Zollie Franklin Pittman, brothers & sisters Waymon, Roy, Toy, Robert and William Slatten and Bessie Young.

Funeral services will be Wednesday June 11, 2008 in the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with burial in the Highland Cemetery. Eugene Bray will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday in the parlor of Hunter Funeral Home.

Survivors include three daughters Billie Ruth Harris and husband Gerald of Walling, Janice Spakes of Sparta and Vickie Pittman and husband Ed Fisks of Sparta

Son: Jimmy Pittman and wife Ruth of Cookeville Sister: Essie England of Sparta Brother: E.J. Slatten of Flat Rock, Michigan
