Orvetta Adams

Orvetta Wing Adams, age 94 of Salt Lake City, died Wednesday, July 1, 1998.

She was born August 11, 1903 to George Hyrum and Martha Ann Fox Wing. Married Delbert James Adams, September 20, 1922 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death December 27, 1975.

She was a member of the LDS Church where she was a Stake Missionary and secretary of the choir for many years. She was an avid tatter.

Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Elma) Erickson and Mrs. Verdell Meacham, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Jeannine Nemanich of Parker, Colorado; eight grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 15 great great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Jenalyn Woffinden and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ruth Wing, both of Lehi. Preceded in death by her daughter, LaRae Adams, three bothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 6, 1998 at 1 p.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, where friends may call Monday one hour prior to services. Burial in the Lehi City Cemetery.

The family wishes to express gratitude to Greenwood Elderly Center for their tender and loving care.
