Virginia greatly enjoyed serving others with loving kindness and hospitality. She worked as a Teacher's Assistant for nearly 25 years at Calvary Christian Academy. Virginia was an active member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church, where she was involved in various ministries of the church. At home, she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and working with flowers. Virginia also enjoyed traveling with her family and friends.
In 2008, Virginia began her journey through early onset Alzheimer's disease. Alongside her at every corner, husband Larry of 37 years remained faithful through the end. Even while living with the dreadful disease, Virginia shared her love with her family through to the end. A special thank you to the staff of Gilchrist Center for Hospice for their attentive care and loving kindness for Virginia and genuine family support through Virginia's end of life.
