COPLEY Floyd R. Copley, age 81, of Pickerington, died Monday, October 27, 2008 at his residence. Born March 27, 1927 in Helena, Ohio, the youngest of 10 children to the late Grover and Rose (Mabus) Copley, he was also preceded in death by son Jeffrey Copley, granddaughter Michelle Miles and 8 brothers and sisters. He was a U.S. Army veteran; was retired from Nationwide Insurance; and was a charter member of Seton Parish Catholic Church. A resident of Pickerington since 1972, he had been active in various organizations. He is survived by his wife of nearly 58 years, Rosella (Swint) Copley; daughters, Susan (Don) Delp, Hamilton, Marcia (Jack) Buckley, Pickerington, Karen Miles, Hilliard; grandchildren, Amanda and Jason Delp, Jonathan and Monica Buckley, Andrea and Nolan Miles; sister, Betty (Paul) Ruth, Helena; nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Seton Parish Catholic Church, 600 Hill Road N., Pickerington, with the Rev. Fr. James Klima, Celebrant. Interment will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Fremont, Ohio.
