Mable Marian Morgan, known by everyone as Marian, was the daughter of Leroy Joshua and Cora (Oyler) Morgan, born on September 11, 1908. She married William C. Clark August 20, 1924 in Fountain County, Indiana. There were four children born to this union who were raised to be hard working, responsible and disciplined adults having taught them traditional morals and values, something that is lacking in the last couple of younger generations.

Marian worked for many years before retiring and having lived through many trials and tribulations that many of us hope we never have to live through. She lost her beloved husband in 1962, never to remarry because her heart and soul belonged to Mr. Clark forever. Marian lost one of her sons in 1970, and lost a second son in 1997 before passing away herself at the age of 91 and 1 day on September 12, 1999.

Marion was a very strong woman, independant not by choice but by having the will to survive all that life had to throw at her and keeping her family in utmost importance in her life.

She enjoyed having her family around her and loved the holidays especially when she would have her children, grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren around her, she took pleasure and joy in watching them laugh, watching the football games, visiting and playing cards with each other.

When you think of the word "Lady" you can think of Marian because she was a Lady in every aspect of the word.
