Barbara Jean Wade is a daughter of William Conrad Wade and Geraldine, "Jerry", Pomeroy Wade. Barbara was one of five children born to Bill and Jerry. Barbara was raised in Phoenix, AZ with several years during grade school spent living in Peoria, AZ on the family farm. Barbara graduated from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ and moved to Long Beach, CA to begin her teaching career as an elementary school teacher. Barbara married Richard B. Corsette, US Navy, and they had two sons. Barbara and Richard lived in several states including California. Monterey, CA was one of Barbara's favorite places to live. After several years of marriage, Barbara and Richard divorced and Barbara and her sons returned to Phoenix, AZ to live. Barbara served as the State Hazard Mitigation Officer for the State of Arizona, Division of Emergency Management and participated in solving many problems relating to state emergencies from flooding and relocation of families to forest fires. Barbara loved her sons and Grandsons and was very proud of them and their accomplishments. Barbara's love of family, friends, and her various interests including books, travel, games, crossword puzzles, entertaining and socializing, will be remembered by all who loved her.
