Levi Powers
Birth: 1805
Marion County
South Carolina, USA
Death: 1886

Levi was a farmer, may have been the father of 9 children

If he died at age 87, and died in the year 1886 then his year of birth would be 1799 and at age 62 probably would not have served in the Civil War.
I know there was a Levi Powers that served. The records are as such:
Confederacy
State Served: South Carolina
Service Record: Enlisted as a Private.
Enlisted in Company A, 21st Infantry Regiment South Carolina.

I believe these records belong to Levi Powers who was born in 1845 and died 1879. I believe the Levi (1845) was the son of Gadi Powers.

If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate more information...
