Hugh Paul Bradley was born in South Groveland, MA, the son of Hugh A. and Lillian (Cormier) Bradley. He was raised in Haverhill and attended the Haverhill School System.
He was a veteran of WWII, having served as a Technical Sergeant with the 15th US Army Air Force in the European, African, and Middle Eastern Theaters. He was listed as missing in action and rescued by the French underground at one point in his military career. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart, the Good Conduct Medal, the Air Medal with 4 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, and the European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with Silver Battle Star.
Hugh was active in church choirs and many church activities, having served on numerous committees and parish shows. He leaves his wife, Estelle (Peyette) Bradley, of 63 years and has living children.
