Funeral arrangement for Mrs. Hulda C. Janke, 81, long-time resident of Elm Mott who died at 4 p.m. Friday in a Waco hospital after a brief illness, had not been made this morning. Wilkerson and Hatch are in charge.
She was born in Austin County and moved to Bartlett when she was 5 yrs old. She moved to Elm Mott in 1898 where she had lived since.
She was the widow of the late Adolph Janke. She was a charter member of the Evangelical and Reformed Church of Gerald.
Survivors include 5 sons; Loyd Janke of 2712 McFerrin, Monroe Janke and Louis Janke both of Elm Mott, Roy Janke of Detroit Mich., Herbert Janke of Ft. Worth, and three daughters; Mrs. Oden Erwin of 2716 McFerrin, Mrs. Agnes Harris of Macon Ga., and Mrs. Frances Wilshire of Elm Mott, a brother Louis Friedrich of Little River, two sisters Mrs. Minnie Schroeder of 3217 South 3rd Street, Mrs. Martha Voight of Bartlett, and eight grandchildren.
