W. Edwin Lane Jr., 56, of Moultrie, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

He was born in Blakley Ga., on Jan. 5, 1954, to the late Frances P. Lane and Winston Edwin Lane Sr.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca J. "Becca" Lane; two sisters, Susan Helms and husband John Ross of Headland, Ala., and Jan Luquire Columbus, Ga.; two brothers, Bill Lane and John Lane and wife Peyton, both of Colquitt, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
