ARNAUDVILLE - Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Allemond Courville, 65, will be held at noon today in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery.
The Rev. William Ruskoski, pastor of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church, will conduct the services.
Musical selections will be provided by Rendell A. James. The songs will be "Amazing Grace," "The Old Rugged Cross," "Isaiah 49," "Hail Mary Gentle Woman," and "Wind Beneath My Wings."
Mrs. Courville, a resident of Sunset, died Sunday, December 30, 2001, at her residence. She was
a native of Arnaudville and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau.
Survivors include: three sons, Billy Courville and his wife Jodi of Sunset, Chris Courville of Canton, Ga., and Tony Courville and his wife Alicia of Carencro; two daughters, Vicki Thibodeaux and her husband Lonnie of Cankton, and Debra Doucet and her husband Chester of
Jefferson, Ga.; nine brothers, Bobby Allemond and his wife Mary Jane of Arnaudville, Allen Allemond and his wife Geraldine of Baton Rouge, Harold Allemond and his wife Faye of Patterson, Joseph Allemond and his wife Lydia of Leonville, Tony Allemond and his wife Phyllis of Breaux Bridge, Wayne Allemond of Arnaudville, Russell Allemond of Arnaudville, Mervin Allemond and his wife Connie of Arnaudville, and Raoul Allemond Jr. of Arnaudville; four sisters, Thelma Robin and her husband Allen of Arnaudville, Mildred Robin and her husband Irving "Ben" of Arnaudville, Irma Richard and her husband Melvin of Morgan City, and Cathy Carroll and her husband Charles of Scott; 13 grandchildren, Stacy T. Verrette and her husband Jonas, Kimberly D. Begnaud and her husband Felix, Brian Thibodeaux and his wife Leslie, Billi Jo C. Guidry, Jason Doucet, Spence Courville, Kelly Courville, Brock Courville, Jared Courville, Braily Courville, Brady Courville, Nick Thibodeaux and Katie Courville; and a great-grandchild, Canean J. Thibodeaux.
Mrs. Courville was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Courville; her parents, Raoul Allemond and the former Julie Olivier, both natives of Arnaudville; two daughters, Jacqueline Courville Comeaux and Sheryl Marie Courville; a brother, Henry Allemond; and a sister, Bertha
Pallbearers will be Jason Doucet, Spence Courville, Brady Courville, Nick Thibodeaux, Jonas Verrette and Felix Begnaud.
Melancon Funeral Home of Arnaudville, Louisiana was is in charge of arrangements.
