Orville was the son and 5th child of 13 born to Don and Lizzie Akin.
Little Orville was helping take water to his dad working in the fields, when he was bitten by a copperhead snake. Sadly, he did not survive.
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord my soul to keep;
If I should die before I wake,
I pray the Lord my soul to take.
