Geraldine Louise "Jerry" (Braden) Williams, 85, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family.

In November 1943 she was united in marriage to Thomas Stanley Williams in St. Louis. He preceeded her in death on July 28, 1977.

She met and married Thomas Stanley "Tommy" Williams in St. Louis, Missouri where they were both working. Tommy was painting and was on a ladder, Jerry walked under the ladder and they met and married a short time later. They came to Fulton, Missouri, Tommy's hometown, and she lived there until her death.

She worked at the Spot Cafe for over 20 years working six days a week, nine hours a day. After she retired she worked for the Foster Grandparent Program for several years and enjoyed working with the children. The kids at the Daycare called her "Miss Jerry". She enjoyed children, garage sales, traveling (She visited forty-eight states and Canada, with her gentlemen friend of over seventeen years, Sam "JR" Grabb and herdaughter, Sandi and and her family, collecting dolls and collectables, cooking and especially baking pies which were the best in the world. Her crusts would melt in your mouth.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four daughters, Marsha Lynn (Charles) Williams-Byrd, Patricia Louise (Paul) Williams- Atterberry, Sandra Lee (Larry) Williams-Estabrook, Pamela Sue (Williams) Childers; a step-daughter Bonnie (Williams) Dews; eleven grandchildren, Aaron, Derek and Brandy Atterberry, Jimmy, Timmy Stewart, Tina (Stewart) (Jesse) Gallup, Shannon and Travis Pitt, Michelle "Shelly" (Byrd) Schroer, all of Fulton, Michael "Dusty (Amy) Byrd of Martinsburg and Lisa Byrd Simmons of Auxvasse; four step-grandchildren, Amanda Ash, Summer Esterbrook, Cassie Estabrook and Jesse Estabrook; Twenty-nine Great-grandchildren, Silver Gallup, Shay Atterberry and Austin Atterberry; a special friend of over 17 years Sam Grabb Jr and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was so lonesome for her sisters and brothers, especially Eudene. She loved all of us so much and did not want to leave us. She fought as long as she could and was surrounded by her loved ones at the moment of her death. Mom tried so hard to wait for her daughter, Patty to get back from Florida, but she just couldn't. I know she is with the family that has gone on and will be there in Heaven to greet us when God calls us home. Mom saw her mother and father waiting for her before her death which was a confort to her. She was a great mother and worked hard to give us what we needed and wanted.

Tribute To My Grandmother
Geraldine "Jerry" LouiseWilliams
A Yellow Rose For You

I miss you more with each passing day.
I am so thankful that you went in your sleep.
In your 85 years of life you touched so many.
I feel that your life had purpose, so did your death. A dear friend of yours was lead back to Earth when you passed away and took you home to be with the Lord. I can see her standing there with a smile on her face and her arms spread wide, welcoming you home.

The wonderful stories you used to tell, I miss them so. I miss hearing your voice, feeling your hugs and smelling your perfume. I miss you always being there. I could always depend on you for anything.

Your Great-granddaughter will have your middle name, I hope she will be just like you, loving and caring just like you were to us with each passing day. When she gets older, I will tell her about you and how wonderful of a grandmother you were to me. I was hoping you could meet her, but now I know it was time for you to go and be with the Lord. We know that you will be watching over us with each passing day. I feel in my heart that you will be the new babies Guardian Angel. I love you grandma and will miss you deeply.
Love your Grandaughter

Thoughts Of Moe
A Red Rose For You:

We sit here we Grieve And We Cry
As We Look In To Your Empty Eyes
Because It Wasn't Long Ago
They Were Full Of Joy And Surprise
Every Time Some One Would Come By

You Taught Us All So Very Much
That's The Reason We All Love You A Bunch
And Though None Of Us Want To Let You Go
It's Really Not Up To Us You Know

You Say You Want To Go
And See Your Mom And Dad
This Hurts Us Because
You Are The Best Thing Some Of Us Has ever Had
I Don't Know Why We must Sit And Cry
As All Of Us Know
You Are Going To The Beautiful Home In The Sky

Every time We Hear The Song Candy Kisses
We Are Reminded Of You
And Many Of The Things We Used To DO
Even Though We Are Now Apart
You Will Always And Forever Be In Our Hearts
We Really Hate To Let You Go
But Only Because We Love You Moe
