This photo of Aminda (Richter) Rossy was taken in July 1881 when she was 45 years old per the date on the back of the photo. Aminda was the wife of Charles Joseph Rossy, Sr. (1816-1900). I'm very happy to have and share this photo and one other. Charles and Aminda were married on May 6, 1852, in New Braunfels, Comal County, Texas. They had eight (8) children of whom my maternal grandfather Charles Joseph Rossy Jr. (1873-1961) was their youngest child. Aminda herself was one of the eight (8) children of Johann Daniel Richter (1784-1849) and Johanna Friederike (Ahrend) Richter (1793-1866).
