Samuel Bixby was the son of Mephibosheth Bixby (1690-1767) and Mary Emmons Bixby (1683-1750). He was the husband of [1]Mary Buck Bixby (1712-1773)and [2] Sarah Beaman. Samuel Bixby and Mary Buck Bixby were the parents of: [1] Samuel Bixby 1739-1820, [2] Joseph Bixby 1741-Aft 1800, [3] Mary Bixby Woods 1743-1767/9, [4] Manasseh Bixby 1743/5-1828, [5] John Bixby 1747-1820, [6] Ephraim Bixby 1754-1817, and [7] Martha Bixby Bidwell 1754-1785.
