A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since 1965, she served in many callings and served a church mission with her husband Tom at the Provo Utah Tabernacle.
Particular interests included cooking, sewing, quilting, music, singing, dancing, reading, family history research, movies, camping and swimming. She loved her dogs, butterflies and flowers. As a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy, she was proud of her Southern heritage and created a replica of a battle flag made by her great-great-grandmother.

She was a special lady, a real Southern Lady. I enjoyed working with her on the return of the flag to the State of Georgia. She will always have a special place in my heart.|
