During her short life, Isabelle required two transplants. She had a genetic disease called mitochondrial disorder that led to her transplants. She received a stomach, liver, small bowel, duodenum and pancreas in 2004 when she was six years old, and a kidney transplant two years later.
She is missed by her parents Michelle and Dan, her big-sister Madeline, grandparents Barb and Jim Shumaker & Paul and Karol Christenson, Aunts and Uncles Greg and Karen Shumaker, Zach Shumaker, and Stacy and Scott Weber, cousins Anna and Aidan Shumaker, great-grandmothers Ellen Altsman and Dorothy Woodfill and other family and friends.
