"Her celebration was just that, we picked things that would mean a lot to her, her casket was lavender coloured and covered with stickers from her sticker collection. Her butterfly Barbie was in amongst the flowers. We released 100 purple balloons. We did it Jordan's way."
~Jillian and Dylan Earle
Jordan was diagnosed with an inoperable brainstem glioma, a brain tumor, type of Pontine Glioma when she was only four years old.
The Make A Wish Foundation granted Jordan a wish of a trip to Surfers Paradise. The tumour had not started to impact on her again at that point, so she was able to really participate and enjoy herself. She also began Ballet and danced in the end of year recital.
Jordan fought with bravery through rough chemotherapy and other treatments but at the end she had lost her speech, motor skills, the ability to use her right hand and had trouble controlling food in her mouth.
On April 27, 2002, Jordan slipped painlessly, gracefully and peacefully away from her family, surrounded by a world of love.
Jordan is deeply missed by her parents Jillian and Dylan, brother Bryn and sisters Rhiannon and Corynne.
