SCARBOROUGH - Amanda Lyn Reed, 27, of Scarborough, died unexpectedly May 1, 2004 in Portland.
She was born April 20,1977 in Strong, a daughter of Charles Reed and Diana (Cook) Vines. Since the age of five, she had been raised by Diana and Bruce Vines. She was educated in the schools of Scarborough.
She enjoyed her three children, they were the love of her life while she was with us on this earth. She also enjoyed the outdoors and animals.
Survivors include two daughters, Brianna and Kendra; a son, Matthew; her parents, Diana and Bruce Vines of Scarborough; her biological father, Charles Reed of Fort Myers, Florida; a stepsister, Kathy Vines of Auburn; a brother, Charles Vines of Scarborough; great - grandmother, Bessie Cook of Farmington; grandparents, Herbert and Marjorie Cook of Strong, and Dewey Vines of Buckfield; a special cousin, Sandra Dunham-Senecal of Massachusetts; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was predeceased by a grandmother, Barbara Cook, and an aunt, Joann Dunham.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 5, at 11:30 a.m. at the Strong Village Cemetery with the Rev. John Tolman officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home 108 Court St. Farmington, ME.
Since Her death her two children Breanna and Kendra Reed have been adopted outside the family.
Her son Matthew is being raised by his father Bruce Yates.
