"Intelligence was received in this city, yesterday, of the sudden death of Sarah A. Bowen, postmistress at the Calcutta, Clinton Township, six or seven miles southeast of this city. Mrs. Bowen was as well as ever Thursday evening, but sometime before morning she suffered a stroke of apoplexy and died at five o'clock. Her demise will be widely mourned."
