Entertained on 15th Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Anthony B. Maluda of 23 Turner Av., Sunday were entertained at a 15th wedding anniversary dinner by Mr. Maluda's family at the home of Mr. Maluda's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs O.E.(Obed and Nellie) Berry of 299 Linden St.
The couple who were married June 14, 1941 at St. John's Ukranian Church by the Rev. Anthony Borsa, were presented a gift.
Mrs. Maluda, the former Mary Humenuk, is the daughter of Mrs. Pauline Spasyk of 70 Ashland St. She is employed by Emvale Worsted Co. Mr. Maluda is an assembler at GE.
The couple have 4 children.

Anthony B. Maluda, 82, of 23 Turner Ave. died yesterday at Mount Greylock Extended Care Facility, where he had resided for the three months.
Born in Adams, on Jan. 2, 1917, son of John (Jan)and Agnes Bigda Maluda, he attended Adams schools. He moved to Savoy in 1918 and and to Pittsfield in 1941.
Mr. Maluda was employed by General Electric as an assembly-man in the ditributions transformer division. He retired as a foreman in 1977 after 36 years of service.
He was a communicant of Holy Family Church, and a member of the GE Quarter Century and Pensioners' Club.
His wife, the former Mary Humenuk, whom he married June 14, 1941, died July 1, 1970.
He leaves a son, James A. Maluda, Pittsfield, three daughters, Mary Ann Stumbaugh of Stockbridge, Nancy C. Boehm of Milford Conn., and Cynthia J. Ostrobinski of Adams; a sister Carrie Radlowski of Pittsfield, nine grandchildren, and his life long companion, Nellie Styczyski of Housatonic.

The funeral will be tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 11, at 8:15 a.m. from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Holy Family Church, celebrated by the Rev. Eugene Suczek. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Calling hours will be at the funeral home today. Friday, Sept. 10, from 4 to 7. If friends desire, donations may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires, in care of Dwyer Funeral Home, in his memory.
