Emmaly E. Reed, affectionately known to many as "Miss Emmaly" died March 17, 2013, in Salina, Kansas.
Emmaly was born June 23, 1930, in Stuttgart Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolf and Barbara Eisenhardt. As a child she was imprisoned in a Prisoner of War camp in Germany.
She was a Translator/Secretary for the US Army for five years.
Survivors included her children; son, Karl Heinz Reed and his wife Elizabeth of Germany, Karl Manfred Reed of Colorado, and a daughter, Emma Reed of Los Angeles, California.
Brothers; Erwin Brenner, Eugen Eisenhart, Helmut Eisenhardt, and Adolf Eisenhardt of Stuttgart, Germany.
Special friends she called sisters by choice; Anne Storniolo of Salina, Kansas, Sharon Sandlin of Minneapolis, Kansas, and Joyce Collins of Salina, Kansas.
