✻ღϠ₡ღ✻ 💋MY BELOVED AUNT 💋✻ღϠ₡ღ✻

Margaret was a true Southern Christian woman. She was a charter member of Kensington Baptist Church in Memphis, serving in the nursery for over 10 years and was a current member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Margaret retired from the IRS. She was an awesome cook. Next to God, her family brought her the most happiness in her life! She truly lived for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Edward W. Brown and her loving and only daughter, Lois Lyle and her great grandson, Clayton Paul Haley. Margaret is survived by two sons, Don Brown of Hernando, Mississippi and Glenn Brown (Karen) of Olive Branch, Mississippi; a son-in-law, Billy Lyle of Atoka, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Chris, Angela, Teresa, Paula, Daniel, Lauren, Alex and Davis; and eight great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Lillie. It was Lillie that fell so in love with my aunt that my aunt just had to keep her. Margaret was a member of the Scleroderma group and request any memorials are sent to the North West Mississippi Scleroderma Group. In loving memory of my aunt I pray they are able to find a cure for Scleroderma so others do not have to suffer the way she did. Although my aunt suffered many years from Scleroderma and lost her husband, her only daughter, and her great grandson she was not bitter and NEVER lost her faith in God. My aunt kept a positive outlook on life and encouraged others to stay positive and upbeat. My Aunt Margaret was like a second mother to me. I don't know what I would have done without her after my mom died by aunt was always there for me, just a phone call away. My Aunt Margaret was extremely loving but when you were wrong she'd let you know it. She had personality traits that reminded me of my grandmother whom I was also very close to. I miss my aunt so very much. She was the light at the end of my tunnel and my shelter from theone if I had not had her to turn to when my mom passed away. I could always count on her for advice and know she would not sugar coat it. She told it like it was and if you didn't like it, oh well. That's one of the many things I loved about her - I always knew she'd tell me the truth no matter what. I find comfort in knowing I'll see her again and she's with her husband, daughter, great grandson, her parents, sister, brother, and in-laws in Heaven. I would be so happy to have just have the strength my aunt had. She was truly the toughest person I had the pleasure of knowing in my life - that is next to her own mother who was also a very strong woman.
