RINGGOLD -- Wanda Jean Dunn McGowan, 59, departed this life Monday, September 14, 2009, at her home.
She attended Denny Hill Baptist Church in Chattanooga, and was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Skeet McGowan Sr.; and her son, Jimmy Skeet McGowan Jr.
Survivors include her son, David (Candi) McGowan, of Ringgold; parents, Robert and Helen Dunn, brother, Michael Dunn, all of Ringgold; grandchildren, Cindy and Eric Buckner; nieces, Ashley Dunn; and nephew, Christopher Dunn; special friends, Delores Stephens and Sue Harcrow.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South, with the Rev. James Dotson, the Rev. Joey Lockman and the Rev. Joanne Walker officiating.
Family will receive friends after 4 p.m. today, and prior to the service Wednesday.
Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
