Elsie Ruby "Hessie" Linn Krieger
Birth: Mar. 5, 1921
Death: Feb. 19, 2006

Edward Krieger was last husband

What should've gone into the Oregonian:

Elsie Ruby Krieger, nee Linn, was born in Milwaukie, Oregon, March 5, 1921, to Timothy and Laura Lulu Elliot Benson Linn. She passed away with her granddaughter, Julie by her side on February 19, 2006. There is one piece of paperwork that read 1920, however, most of her siblings said 1921. Elsie was the youngest girl and third youngest child of the large family.

She was predeceased by her husband Edward Krieger and two grandchildren, Ryan Patrick Marsh and Adriane Joy Cox. Elsie was the last survivor of all her siblings, with the passing of her beloved brother Lloyd Linn just weeks before. She is survived by her Sister-in-law Janny Linn, three children, Timothy Earl "Buster" Hammond, Geneva "Peach" Tyrrell-Gester and husband Sanford Gester and William and Patricia Tyrrell. She left behind 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Elsie was also the favorite aunt to each and every niece and nephew from her siblings, the number too large to count.

Elsie first married Edward Amos Tyrrell on December 25, 1944 which ended in divorce. She then married Edward Krieger. Elsie's entire life was her family, her sisters and her brothers. When was told of her brother Lloyd's passing she lived for one more week after his memorial. On the day of the memorial she told all that she could go now.
Her life was not easy, sometimes not very fun, but when she loved, she loved forever.

She was my Grandmother, my mother, my best friend. As my uncle once said, "she also knew where all the bodies were buried,"
When she was dying I told her that I would never be one of those who turn their deceased relatives into saints, she laughed. I was wrong, I don't think she was gone 10 minutes before she reached sainthood to me, I think she's up there laughing and playing cards and yelling at her sister to stop dropping the damn queen.
Her favorite flowers were daffodils and on March 5 2007, her daffodils bloomed in my yard.
All my love forever and always Granny
