Jacob Leon born on July 2,1834 in Edinburg, Germany, died of Chronic Hepatitis & Organic Heart Disease, Gangerene, Died on May 22,1919 in Little Falls, N. Y., buried on May 24,1919 in St. Mary's Cemetery, Little Falls. Local register # 93, widower at time of death, Informant John Leon.

Little Falls, May 22--This morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Van Alstine, occurred the death of Jacob Leon, an old respected resident of this city. Mr. Leon was born in Edinburg, Germany and had been a resident of this vicinity since 1857, and was nearly 90 years of age.
The deceased at one time conducted a meat market but later became an associate of Jacob Zollar, for whom he worked many years until compelled to retire through the infirmities of old age.
The Deceased was an honorable citizen and had many friendly disposition and has made many friends in his long residence here. He is survived by his daughter with whom he resided and one son, John Leon, also a number of grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday morning from St. Mary's Church at the usual hour. Burial will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Jacob and Bridget's first born was Joseph, he was born in
Manheim, New York abt 1858 and died January 10,1877 in
Little Falls, burial place unknown at this time.
