Adam Freeley, 85, 116 Steuben Street, resident of this city for the last 50 years, died in St. Luke's Hospital Thursday, October 13,1938, after two weeks illiness.
He was born in Bavaria, coming to this country when nine years old and living in Holland Patent. He was the son of Conard and Katherine Crossway Freeley. Sixty-four years ago he married Melvina Crobe in Jordanville. She died in December 1935. Mr. Freeley was a blacksmith by trade but had been employed at the Savage Arms Corporation for many years. He attended Bethany Presbyterian Church.
He leaves two sons, Earl and Harry, this city; a sister, Mrs. Mary Starring, Elmira; eight grandchildren; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 P.M. tomorrow from the Surridge & Roberts Home of Funerals
