Husband of Juanita (Mixon) Baggett
Father of Questioned Document Investigator Charles T. Baggett of Kinder, LA.
Some time before I was born, you had one of your legs broken, which later caused that leg to be about two inches shorter than the other. This caused you to walk with a very strong 'limp'.
I remember the time I was about five years old, you let me ride the East Texas Motor Coaches bus with you, while you were the driver. I saw some unusual characters that day, as you saw them every day.
I remember the first time you made me a Purple Martin bird house, and put it on the top of a pine sapling pole to put it in a hole, and the martins started dive-bombing me and took immediate possession of their new house. I was happy to see them get a temporary new home.... I still have a bird house for the birds today!
You also killed a five feet long rattle snake while you were logging in the woods with Mom's Daddy, and hung it on the side of the house to take my picture near it. I remember being scared to death of it, even if it was dead.
I was almost ten yrs old when you died, and I'm sorry I lost you.
