Film and stage actress Anna Palk was born in Looe Cornwall and became an accomplished film and theatre actress.
Anna was educated at the Rise Hall Convent School in Yorkshire, she then trained as an actress at The Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts in London. After completing her training she joined a repertory company and toured the UK doing various plays in cities, Bristol, Leeds, Derby and Newcastle.
Anna then commenced a very successful film and television career, appearing in many popular TV dramas. Anna's most popular films were:-

Horror of Snape Island (1972)
The Nightcomers (1972)
The Main Chance (TV Series with actor John Stride 1969)
Mini Weekend. (1967)
Witch Hunt (TV Mini Series)
Frozen Dead (1966)
Fahrenheit 451 (1966)
The Earth Dies Screaming (1965)
The Count Of Monte Cristo (1964)
Anna was married to Derek Brierley a stockbroker and they had one son - Jonathan.

A general view in the British film and television industry is that Anna Palk was a very talented and dependable actress with consummate skill and very good acting technique...and projected a cool presence to many a memorable performance.

Anna Palk died of terminal cancer in London 1990. 
Cremated, Ashes given to family or friend.
