"Ignacio Duran, Gonzales resident"
"Ignacio Duran of Gonzales died Sunday at Eden Valley Health Care Center in Soledad following a lengthy illness. He was 92.
Mr. Duran was a native of Hollister and lived in Gonzales for 72 years. Before retiring, he was employed by Gonzales Union School District for 20 years. He also was employed by Nestles in Gonzales for 20 years. He was a member of Senior Citizens of Gonzales, St. Theodore's Catholic Church and the South County Old Timers. He enjoyed woodworking.
Mr. Duran is survived by his wife, Eva Duran of Gonzales; his son, Richard Duran of Arkansas; his brothers Arthur Duran of Tijuana, Mexico, Charles Duran of Gonzales and Edward Duran of Hollister; seven grandchildren and five great grand-children.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Whitehurst-Terry Funeral Service. Rosary will be at 8:10 p.m. today at the Mortuary. Mass will be at 10a.m. Wednesday at St. Theodore's Catholic Church in Gonzales. Burial will be at Gonzales Cemetery."
