Solomon R. Williamson was a son of John Williamson (1780-1851) and his wife, Elizabeth Sullivan (1799-bef. 1870). He was born in Montgomery County, GA. Solomon first married Delila Trapnell (1832-1876) in 1850--8 children; he married Clarissa Calhoun second (1858-1950)in 1878--10 children.

This cemetery is on their homeplace north of Oak Park, across the road from the house site, and is reserved for the direct descendants of Solomon Williamson and their spouses.
