Lance Cpl. Ralph J. Fabbri, 20, of Gallitzin, Pa., died Sept. 28 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, IMarine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif. Survived by his parents, Ashville; brother, Timothy Jr., and his wife, Jennifer, Danville; paternal grandmother, Dolores (Sylvester) Fabbri, Altoona; maternal grandmother, Jane (Hanlon) Myers, Cresson; fiancee, Justine Shaffer, Cresson; uncles and aunts, Randy (Beth) Fabbri, Altoona; Renee (Bill) Thompson, Estes Park, Colo.; Susan (Ralph) Tiskur, Wickliffe, Ohio; Flora Huston, Bowie, Md.; Norm (Theresa) Myers, Mary Ellen (Jack) Seymore and John (Carol) Myers, all of Cresson; and Fran (Rich) Bunevitch, Hollidaysburg; and numerous cousins.
