OBITUARIES FOR JAMES JENS CHRISTENSEN
Mr. Jens Christensen, who has been ill for several years past with consumption, died at his home in Alden Saturday morning, aged about 38 years. Mr. Christensen was born in Denmark and came to Alden in 1881; and was married in 1886. His wife and six children survive him to mourn his departure. Mr. Christensen formerly operated a farm near Oakland, but his health being poor, he sold his interest there and moved to Alden to reside some two years ago, since which time he has been unable to do but little work.
