National U.S. Squash Champion 1950, 1956, 1957, 1958 and 1959 and Princeton University's first major woman's squash coach, where she coached ten undefeated teams. Known for her left-handed stroke, Elizabeth was the dominant woman's squash player of the 1950s. One of the namesakes for the Prestigious Howe Cup, named after the female squash players of her family. Inducted into the United States Squash Hall of Fame in 2000. Her twin sister, Peggy Howe White, was the U.S. Howe Cup champion in 1952 and '53.
