Oscar W. Herman, eighty-one, Willow Street R2, Pequea Twp., died at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at his home after an illness of five years. A lifelong resident of Pequea Twp., where he resided a lifetime in the same residence, he was a son of the late Milton M. and Martha Duncan Herman; and was engaged in farming until retiring ten years ago. His wife, the former Anna Mae Andrews, died on Feb. 3, 1955. Surviving is a daughter, Dorothy, wife of Richard E. Stauffer, at home; two grandchildren and a sister and brother: Mrs. Annie Miller and Edwin Herman, both of Lancaster. Source: Lancaster Newspaper.
