James H. Dillon, our son, brother and friend, bravely completed his struggle for life on January 19, 1996 and peacefully took the pathway home to God.

In his 43 years upon this earth, he touched so many with his humor, love and many talents. He was blessed with a mellow tenor voice, a dry wit, an infectious laugh and the ability to open his heart and soul to everything and everyone.Jim grew up in Helper, Utah, and graduated from Carbon High School in 1971, where he was a member of the A Cappella choir. He attended the College of Eastern Utah where he was active in choir and theater. After working for Utah Railway, he moved to California, where he worked as a hair stylist at "The Oaks" spa in Ojai. He returned to Price nine years ago to be near his mother. Since that time he worked with the Senior Citizens Center and finally as a planner for Carbon County.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Dillon and sister, Mary. He is survived by his beloved mother, Ruth Dillon; brother, Joe Renden; sister, Angie Martinez; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dogs and a multitude of friends, who will hold him in their hearts forever.

We will remember you, Jim, whenever we see a beautiful garden or hear a haunting strain of music. "Good night, sweet prince; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!"

Prayer service is Friday, January 26, 1996 at 7 p.m. at Mitchell's Funeral Home. The funeral service is Saturday, January 27, 10 a.m., at the St. Matthews Episcopal Church. The family will be at the church one hour prior to services.
