Even with so many committments, she still found time to volunteer for the American Cancer Society.

Through her battle with cancer, Brenda wanted to acknowledge how special her care had been from Commonwealth Hematology Oncology of Weymouth.; they became part of her family, especially Dr. Everett. South Shore Hospice was with her every step of the way and it was her wish to thank them for making her life full and beautiful.

Her family is creating a bracelet representing Lung Cancer with proceeds going to the LUNGevity Walk and fundraising efforts.

"Buddy" Brockelbank; her best friend and personal care giver, Denise Scott; many nieces and nephews, friends and family and all Ma Dukes girls and boys. She was pre-deceased by her father Norman E. Brockelbank,Sr. and her brother, Gary Brockelbank, both of Salisbury.

It was Brenda's request that those whom attend her service wear something pink as that was her favorite color. .

Brenda, I know you're holding that baby in your arms, telling that precious little soul about the amazing parents waiting to meet their greatest joy. Rest now, you've earned it.
