Peter passed away at his home of 24 years with family by his side on March 23, 2013. He was 1 day shy of his 70th birthday. He was born to Hubertus Karl and Mildred Irene (von Marenholtz) Erdmann in Berlin, Charlottenburg, Germany. He moved to Seattle with his parents after WWII.
Peter faithfully served the United States Army, starting at the age of 17, as a Field Radio Relay and Carrier Operator from 1960-1966.
Peter leaves behind his wife, Felicity Erdmann; 2 brothers, Love (Honesty) Israel and Steve (Cindy) Erdmann; 2 sisters, Mary Shipp and Ellen (Jim) Girt; uncle, Robert (Margie) von Marenholtz; many loving nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and his second family from "The Suzuki 1500LC Intruder Forum".
Peter passed away almost twenty years after the death of his son, Peter Robert Erdmann, in 1993.
Visitation Services were held at Acacia Funeral Home, Seattle, WA on Friday, March 29, at 9AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 10AM and graveside at 11AM. Burial was in the soldier's section of Acacia Cemetery.
