Elmer Earl Aliff, 66, of 8317 Mac Corkle Ave, Marmet, died Monday in General Division, CAMC, after an apparent heart attack.
He is a retired coal miner from Carbon Fuel, Winifred, and a member of Green Valley church of God, St. Albans, and the UMWA. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving: wife, Nadine: son, Onas of Morgantown: daughter, Mrs. Doris O'Neal of Marmet: sisters, Mrs. Alice Walker of Seth, Mrs. Sarah Hutchinson of Glendale, Arizona; brother, Ellett Ray of Marmet; five grandchildren , Anthony Hudnall, Judy Hudnall, Joseph O'Neal, Timothy Aliff and Christopher Aliff.
Service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet, with the Rev. Wayne Burch officiating. Burial will be in Williams Mountain Cemetery, Prenter. Friends may call form 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
