Age 79, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2007. He was born on April 22, 1927, in Fordyce, Arkansas, to Milton Frank Duncan and Beadie Lou (McCoy) Duncan. Frank served in the U.S. Navy during WWII being a Seaman First Class he received the American Theatre Medal, Victory Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Medal. On his return home to Dewitt, Arkansas, he met and married Lucy Harriet Gibbs on July 4, 1947. They moved to California, where Frank became a Diesel Mechanic owning his own business for a time. The family moved to Junction City, Oregon, in 1972, where he worked for Pepe Brothers Caterpillar until his retirement in 1987. In August 2002, Frank and Lucy moved to Roseburg, Oregon, but were only to spend a short time here before Lucy's passing. Frank loved to fish, especially Alaska halibut fishing with the Roseburg group and his son from Portland, Oregon. Later in life he found a new love for golf. He and his "golf buddy" Harold Thompson could be seen everyday at Roseburg Country club come rain or shine. If he wasn't golfing he could be found at Seven Feathers Casino playing the penny slots. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and by his beloved, Lucy.
He is survived by his brother Paul.
