George Washington Crosby
Birth: Jan. 20, 1821
Cortland County
New York, USA
Death: Jan. 2, 1902
Butler County

George was the son of William Crosby and Electa Graves. His death records identify him as Washington Crosby.
From the Roster of WI Volunteers, War of Rebellion 1861-1865, First Regiment Cavalry, Company F, George W. Crosby from Avon enlisted Dec 30, 1863. Mustered out July 19, 1865. Rank of Private.
George Washington Crosby married Esther Alvira Nelson. They had 8 children, Edward D., Laura E., George Washington, Willis, Emma, Albert L., Leon E. and Delbert Crosby. Esther died in 1870 and George remarried, to Esther's younger sister Mary Ann Nelson. They had one son Henry W. Crosby. Children of these unions are eligible for Mayflower Society membership based on Samuel Fuller. I have no further Crosby information beyond William, and no burial for him.
Some records show his birth as Feb. 21, 1821.
