"Local Correspondence - Sandy Lake
Mrs. Harriet Wright, who was stricken with paralysis on the 10th inst. at her home two miles south of town, died at 4 P. M. Monday after lying in an unconscious condition for seven days. Deceased was 70 years of age. She came from England to this country with her parents when but 3 years old. She was twice married, her first husband, whose name was John Buckley, being killed at the battle of Gettysburg, subsequently she married Sampson Wright, of Sandy Lake township, who died about 15 years ago. She was the mother of seven children, six of whom survive her. Funeral services were held at Zion church, of which she had been a member for 40 years, at 11 o'clock Wednesday, conducted by Rev. Campbell, interment taking place in Zion cemetery."
NOTE: They had six children: George, Samuel P., Job, Alice Hannah, Mary M. and Luke Slater Buckley.
