Irene A. Liedel, 94, formerly of Deerfield, Michigan passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 26, 2009, surrounded by family members in Cranberry Twp., PA. She was the loving wife of the late Ross Liedel; beloved mother of Ann Liedel (Charles) Rice, Larry (Elaine) Liedel, Sharon St. John, Karen Liedel (Hal) Noyd and Richard Liedel (deceased); devoted grandmother of Beth (Bill) Clegg, Amy (Steve) Baker, Brad (Jenny) Liedel, Leslie (Andy) Majchrowski, Denise Scully, Kaley (Craig) Guiley, Michelle (Brian) Etling, Christopher Noyd and the late Ellen Rice Carfano. Also survived by 10 great- grandchildren; a brother, Earl (Tillie) Geoffrion and a sister, Lucille Ovall. A funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Irene Liedel will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Deerfield, Michigan with Fr. Jack Loughran officiating. Burial will follow in St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery in Deerfield. The family will receive visitors on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Tagsold Funeral Home in Blissfield, Michigan.
