Jesse Dunaway, 76, of 109 Oak Hollow, Conroe, passed away Friday, Oct.22, in a Conroe hospital. He was a former resident of Trinity County, but has resided in Conroe for the past five years. He was a member of the Sebastopol Congregational Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Sebastopol Congregational Methodist Church, with Rev. Raleigh Hooper officiating.Interments followed in the Chita Cemetery.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Hattie Dunaway of Conroe; three sons,Hubert Dunaway of Trinity and Lloyd and Douglas Dunaway, both of Conroe; four daughters, Mrs. Verna Chessher of Kountze. Mrs. Frances Waltz of Huntsville and Mrs. Ruth Morris of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two sisters,Mrs. Frank Mason of Sebastopol and Mrs. McCollum of Houston; 11 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Waller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
